Whatever you book, we market the night: paid ads and artwork before it, then photos people are happy to share, a gallery page and the head counts afterwards. On a quiz or bingo night, your offers go up on the screens too.
Why a mixed night fills a room
A quiz night for the quiz crowd, karaoke for the karaoke crowd and multiple reasons to come out instead of one.
Where a quiz night can start early and empty later on, a karaoke night can start slow and pick up later — a mixed night starts strong and keeps the regulars entertained all night.
An example night
Every night is put together for your pub. You choose what goes in it and how late it runs. Here's an example.
- 9pm–10pm
- Music bingo
Anyone can join in. You don't need a team or any knowledge, so people can wander in after it's started.
- 10pm–11pm
- A quiz — music rounds, general knowledge, or both
- Quick games between rounds — play your cards right, or whatever you fancy
- 11pm–1am
- Karaoke while the bar is busy
- DJ and evening disco to close
One or both. A straight DJ set or a straight karaoke night is a booking on its own too, if the hosted games are not what your room wants.
The marketing half
Plenty of entertainers turn up, play and go home. We market your night as well: before it, on the night and after it.
It all comes as standard.
We run paid ads for your night in the days before it. The ad spend is in the fee.
Artwork made for your venue and agreed with you: posts and Stories for your socials, a version for your screens and a poster for the bar.
We post your night to the Pub Champions Instagram and Facebook, so our followers know it's on.
A page for your night with the day, the time and what's on, so anyone who sees an ad or a poster has somewhere to find out more.
Our own quiz and bingo software puts your offers up between rounds, so your Sunday roast gets seen by a full room. There's nothing for you to set up.
Photos of a full room the next morning, the kind people are happy to share, each one carrying your pub's name. Nothing for your staff to do.
Each night gets its own page with your venue's name on it. People go looking for the photo they're in, and send it to the friends who weren't there.
How many played each week, with week twelve next to week one on your own page, so you can see whether the night is growing. We can run a league across the weeks too, if your crowd likes that.

The running order is your choice, tell us how you want it to run and we'll run it that way.
What it costs you
A night starts from £200.
What it actually comes to depends on the room, how long you want it to run and how far we're travelling — and a weekly slot is priced differently from a one-off. Tell us the night and we'll give you an exact price.
- A flat fee for the night. No door split to administer and no minimum spend.
- Mics, decks, cables and the lighting come with it — nothing to hire in.
- No exclusivity asked for.
- Public liability cover and PAT-tested kit, with the insurance certificate to you before the first night.

We've worked with many venues — here's a list from the last few years. Some booked us direct and some through agencies. Either way, it was us running the night.
Questions we get asked
Do we need to provide anything?
Your screens and a plug socket. We plug into whatever you've got with an HDMI cable. Mics, decks, cables and lighting come with us, and the kit is PAT tested, with our public liability certificate to you before the first night. We can bring speakers, but if your room has a system it'll sound better through yours. Prizes are up to you; a bar tab or a round is usual, and that goes straight back over your own bar.
How long does a night run?
A mixed night runs four to five hours, like the example above, and how long it runs is part of the price. We can start earlier or finish later to fit around your kitchen or last orders. Tell us when you want the room busy and we'll plan around it.
What if the first night is quiet?
Getting the word out helps most, so before the first night we make artwork for your socials, based on your venue and agreed with you, and we run paid ads for the night in the days before it. If a night still isn't working for your room, we'll move it to another night.
Weekly or one-off?
Either. A one-off night is a booking on its own, and a regular night goes in the same slot every week. We don't ask for exclusivity.
How much notice do you need?
A few weeks is comfortable, but we can often do sooner, so it's worth asking. December fills up months ahead, so ask early for a Christmas slot.
Which night should we pick?
Whichever is quietest. If you're paying staff to work a quiet night, that's the one to fill.
Can you do Fridays and Saturdays?
Yes, both. A Friday or Saturday books as a DJ set, on the same terms and with the same marketing afterwards.
